HALLOWEEN!

We are so excited this year for Halloween. Abby is going to be a fairy princess and just LOVES her costume. We are going to a meet your favorite princess and hear her story party before the ward trunk or treat. I am sure that Abigale with be so happy! After the truck or treat it's off to trick or treating...or as Abby would say TREAT! Then we are heading out to my cousin Amanda's house to let the kids get together. We will post pics as soon as we get them on the computer! HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone!

Rockets! Abby got to make her rocket and then launch it! Her rocket went so far when we launched it! She was so excited to chase it down!! (Notice her face now has a goldfish on it...we got her face painted a few different times since it was free for staff!)

Sorry for the long post! We have been so busy with the Scarecrow Festival for the last few days so I haven't been able to put posts up! We had so much fun at the festival...and I am sure that both Spence and I gained at least three pounds each! The food was so good...and since we were staff we just got as much as we wanted for free. It was so yummy, but I certainly wouldn't have eaten so much if I had to pay for it myself!!

Abby's Pumpkin

So here are some pictures of the pumpkin I carved for Abigale this year. She is way into Mickey Mouse..and she just loves this pumpkin. I am glad it turned out so well because it literally SUCKED to carve! It took forever!

Pumpkin Painting

Today we got together with my cousin Amanda and her little girls Sophie and Laynie and the girls painted their pumpkins. I was quite shocked at how much Abby really enjoyed the task and that it kept her occupied for quite a while.Here is a shot of both Abby and Sophie. What little artists they are!!!

Abby thought that Laynie was really fun to talk to...she sure loves babies!

PUMPKINS!

Today we went with my cousin Amanda and her husband Bodi and two little girls Sophie and Laynie to a pumpkin patch. We had so much fun. It was $5.00 a person for a hayride and you got to pick out a pumpkin each. It was quite the bargain I might add...check out the size of the pumpkins we got!!

Here is our chance at a family picture. The mountains are nice and snow capped! We got our first snow of the season over the weekend.

Spiders & Dress Up

This weekend we were with my sister in law Nikki and her girls and we made these fun cookie "spiders." Abigale enjoyed eating all of the fun things we used to make them rather than actually putting the spiders together!

Here is a picture of the final product...we made two with blue eyes for daddy since his favorite color is blue.Mayli and Tori were trying on their Halloween costumes to make sure they fit and Abby got jealous so she got to wear an old costume of Mayli's. She was the BYU Princess! She just loved waving the wand around.

When I showed Spence the pictures I had to let him know that Abby will NOT be a BYU Princess for Halloween this year, even though she is rather cute!
